"It
was a very strange thing..."
Isn't it just great when a book underlines how we
can redeem ourselves/behaviour! Belinda has made a great turn around
and this is a lovely happy chapter to read, as everything comes
together. Er, unlike my Japanese dollshouse (apart from the room I
have) ... however I am still intending to try to get it made, and will
post a pic some months down the line?!
Everyone is happy now, new friends have been made, new avenues
explored, we have fruition!
And then there's the book Little Plum ... which is more about Belinda's
journey as well as the others'. It's a nice sequel.

And I loved the way Little Peach
is introduced. It was kind of Nona to think of him for Belinda!

-----------
I enjoyed how Nona
came up with her elaborate and secret plan to bring Little Peach home.
She and Mother must
have enjoyed being co-conspirators very much,
And I imagine Nona was
almost bursting with excitement.
In the meantime, Nona
remains dedicated to maintaining Miss Happiness and Miss Flower’s
lifestyle
in a culturally
appropriate way and is fortunate to have so many supportive
helpers to accomplish it.
They have a new
kimono, hats, scroll, and flower arrangement appropriate for the season,
And their table is
freshly set for breakfast as well.
The arrival of Little
Peach bodes well for a deepening friendship between Nona and Belinda.
It is a very
satisfying conclusion.
