Patience and Dulcie bring news from Her Royal Majesty!
While visiting at court, these two Hitty sisters spoke about the lovely send off
and compliments they received from members of this group.
The Queen was so touched that she proclaimed that all Hittys are invited
to bide their time at court during these unusual times
and that they most definitely need to arrive in time for the Corona Ball!
Since little woodens clearly do not pose a threat to the Royal family,
the Queen felt they are just the thing to brighten her day!
Consider this your Royal Invitation to dress
and photograph your precious Hittys in their Royal best!
If anyone is interested, I will attempt to share a simple pattern
I have designed for a basic dress that can fit any little lady of court!
I have really enjoyed the challenge of "shopping" from my own sewing stash!
It is surprising how many things I have tucked away and forgotten about!
Here are a few unlikely sources for lovely supplies!
Patience's dress is made from an old silk tie that had belonged to my husband!
Old pieces of costume jewelry are great to use as accessories!
This pattern looks great made from cotton and embellished with anything shiny or pretty!
Felt can also be a wonderful base for a fancy hat!
I hope you will allow your Hittys to take this imaginary trip!

They must be new for the challenge.

so you may wish to focus on his/her eyes when you take your photo.

and Hitty needs to be the main subject of the photo.
