Japanese Spring Festivals Kimono and Photo Challenge

During the month of March, Hitty is very anxious to celebrate two spring festivals that will take place in Japan:

Hina Matsuri (Girls’ Festival Day or Doll's Festival) is celebrated on March 3.
This is the day on which wishes are made for the future happiness of all girls.
Traditionally girls would arrange a display of dolls dressed in ancient royal court costumes,
with peach blossom decorations.

Hanami/Sakura  (Cherry Blossom Festival) happens some time during March to April,
when people dress in their traditional clothing
and go outdoors to view blossoms when they are at their most abundant.

The Challenge will run until March 31, 2019.

Criteria

You are challenged to:

1. Dress Hitty in her finest Kimono.
Do make a new kimono if at all possible.
Be sure to wrap her kimono left over right.
Links will be provided for patterns and resources
in the Wiki at Hittygirls.io
Please share any other helpful tips you may have.

2. Set up or create a photo setting reminiscent of Japan.

3. Upload 1 to 3 photos of Hitty enjoying Hina Matsuri,
and/or upload 1 to 3 photos of Hitty enjoying Hanami/Sakura
to the Japanese Spring Festival album by March 31, 2019.
Challenge photos need to have been taken in 2019.
Older theme photos may be uploaded to the March Misc Album.

4. Try to arrange your Hitty(s) to show them involved in an activity or interacting with each other
so they are not just posing for the camera.

5. Click edit to rename your image and begin the title with your first name.
Write a description of what is happening in the photo in the appropriate box.

6. Please take time to comment on the photos posted by others.

7. Your name and address must be included in the Swap/Challenge database to participate.

Co-hosted by Kathy M and Susan K
A lucky person (randomly selected) who joins in the challenge will get a little prize as a thank you for participating...
