Hitty’s “Magic Penny” Challenge
|
A Photo Challenge for You and Your Hittys
Closed
Deadline for this challenge was August 31, 2007
Hittygirls are a kind and generous lot and this challenge is designed
for you and your Hittys to “think globally and act locally”.
We may not have the ability to travel the globe to assist the poorest of the
poor,
but we can surely help someone in need right outside our front door.
How do you serve others and how is your Hitty involved?
Document your Hitty’s efforts to be a good neighbor by sending a photograph
of her being about the business of service.
Ideas: Hittys visiting a nursing home, replenishing a local food
bank,
preparing a presentation at the local library, planting flowers and trees
in your local park,
working for a national service organization, or cleaning up after a natural
disaster.
You know the unique needs of your community and how you can best serve!
Planting green beans in the garden,
to benefit our local food pantry.--Julie

-------------
Patience consoles her dear old donkey friend. His
ear tore and fell off. He is devastated.
"Who could love me now?" he brays. Patience reminds him that she
will love him, no matter what; but, she is sure that she can help him.
A little surgical glue and he is good as new again--except for his well earned
character lines--and he's proud of those!
Friends can always count on each other!
